As quickly as flows were restored in the Oak over the past weekend the fishing likewise perked up again with some steelhead hooked and a few knarly Kings clinging to a hopeful life. With cool water temperatures, rig depths of 30 to 80 ft down are getting Troutman 2 anglers kings coho and some whopper lake trout! There is plenty of water cover to hide fish or to encourage any late migrations of browns or early migrations of steelhead. Widewaters is never drawn-down and is the hot spot for bass this time of year. Look for good drift opportunities on the backside of the higher flows with the chance for fresh trout migrations and Kings to be well spread thru the water courses.
